Teaching

I enjoy working with community groups and schools to deliver a wide range of workshops, spanning KS1 to A Level and beyond. I delight in the opportunity to share my skills and be part of a learning community, believing creativity is an essential element of education and will always strive to provide an infectious level of enthusiasm in my workshops. I am a trained Arts Award Advisor, working closely with The Culture Challenge in many schools across my local county of Bedfordshire.

As a Verified Culture Provider with The Culture Challenge, I seek to maintain a high level of professionalism and provide workshops which are well-researched, creative, safe and above all, fun learning experiences. I also work in a professional capacity as a co-ordinator for The Culture Challenge, working to connect schools and artists across Bedfordshire, Luton and Milton Keynes, producing creative and cultural events to inspire young people.

As well as local schools and colleges, I have also worked with a number of organisations to deliver engagement activities. These include the National Maritime Museum Cornwall, the University of Cambridge, Litter Free Coast & Sea with Dorset Wildlife Trust and this year, the Cutty Sark, Greenwich.

I was invited by The Chellington Centre to be part of their video for schools, which showcases their stunning rural location. It was a fun opportunity to share my love of working with found objects in my local countryside with children from Carlton Primary School in North Bedfordshire.
